Ministry of Truth

Ministry of Truth is a publication in the format of a newspaper, that strives to encourage the importance of truth and transparency. It declares itself as openly against a society where truth becomes distorted, meaningless and indecifrably. Relevant, because we live in a world where truth has become a commodity, so easily manipulated and manufactured.
Using as a starting point ‘The Society of The Spectacle’, and ending in ‘1984’, this publication is a collection of essays and extracts from books about truth. Influenced by David Pearson’s cover design of ‘1984’, where the title is missing because it’s censored, I decided to apply the same idea. As the newspaper progresses, it goes from white to black, becoming more and more censored. The truth, harder to find, to read.
