Red was born as a school project where the class was asked to photograph an object of our choosing. I wanted to make it meaningful and personal, so I decided to use a red cardigan that belonged to my mother and now belongs to me. Using the color red as visual narrator and conductor, I explored the themes of family, history and intimicy. Red is everywhere: in old family photographs, in the street, in clothe wangers, in strangers, in fathers playing football with their sons.
